The Ladies of the Knights purpose is to assist the Knight of Columbus in projects
and charitable works for our community. The organization is open to all wives, mothers,
sisters, and daughters of living or deceased Knights of Columbus members.
We meet
the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm beginning with a shared dinner with the Knights
and following with our separate meethings. Our meetings are held at the Knights'
Hall which is located at 104 North First St. in Jacksonville.
Our charitable contributions
give assistance to all in need. We also have special groups that we give assistance
on a montly basis such as verterans in a special unit in the VA hospital at Ft. Roots
and a home for women & children with needs such as safe haven. Other needs are filled
as circumstances arise.
